It is a year-round process through which adults and children of catechetical age become members of the Roman Catholic Church either through Baptism or a profession of faith. The RCIA journey of faith is intended to invite those seeking to enter the Church to progressive conversion and a deeper relationship with God and the community of the faithful. The journey of a person seeking Baptism will coincide with the Church's liturgical cycle for one full year. The journey of persons baptized in another Christian faith may vary according to their individual needs.
Informal INQUIRY sessions are offered on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
There is a tremendous opportunity for individuals to become sponsors in RCIA. The experience has proven to be an incredible spiritual experience. Not only is there a special bond between a candidate and a sponsor but sponsors find they learn a lot about their own faith. |
